We greet you and would like to welcome you to St Francis, a Parish within the Diocese of the Eastern United States of the Anglican Province of America.
The Anglican Province of America, along with our communion partners, is an Anglican Province, serving Christians throughout the United States and Canada, as well as the Caribbean, India, Europe, the Philippines, and the Fiji Islands. This Province seeks to be faithful to the ideals and faith of the first American Episcopalians and their Anglican forefathers. Its beliefs are firmly founded in the Holy Scriptures and are professed in the three historic Creeds of the Church: the Nicene Creed, the Apostles’ Creed, and the Athanasian Creed. Its clergy are in Apostolic Succession of the ancient Church.
Here at St. Francis, we believe that the worship of God is the highest privilege given to all people. Successful living is possible only through a full life of worship and praise, through which we receive God’s guidance and love. In worship, we also return to Him, in great thanksgiving, the love He has bestowed upon us in His Son, Jesus Christ.
At St. Francis you will join in the worship of God in much the same way Christians have worshipped for centuries. The deep roots of our Anglican heritage, combined with the fresh working of the Holy
Spirit today, produce a spiritual vitality that is greatly needed in our society.
